이번 주일은 성탄주일입니다.

성탄주일을 맞아서 우리는 신약성경의 가장 첫 장에 기록된 예수님의 족보를 읽게 됩니다.

이 족보에는 예수님이 다윗의 후손으로서 구약에 예언된 메시야로 이 땅에 오셨음을 증거하는 말씀이 담겨 있습니다.

다음의 질문을 통하여 본문을 미리 살펴보시지요.

- 이 족보는 누구부터 시작하고 있습니까?

- 원래 이스라엘의 족보에는 통상 여자의 기록이 없지만, 이 족보에는 5명의 여인이 기록되어 있습니다. 예수님의 어머니 마리아 외에 4명은 누구인지 그 이름을 찾아 적어보십시오.
